Well it’s that time again! So excited to get the new year started and welcome everyone back. I have been wondering what my friends have been doing with their summer?! Randy and I moved into our new house we have been working on for a year! Halleluiah! Its great to be back in White Oak again and close to our family. Spring Hill really wasn’t too far away though…HAMrs. Danieli Parker will be our new principal this year and she is so excited to meet everyone. Karsyn Edwards, my granddaughter, will start kindergarten at White Oak this year and my grandson, Christopher Drennan, will be in 5th grade at White Oak. Cooper Drennan (almost 1 year old) will start school at Oakland Heights. Good things are happening this year in our building and I can’t wait!!
I can’t believe it’s almost time for the school year to be over! I will miss my 5th grade students as they head to middle school. What a great bunch of kids they are getting! This last week will be fast and crazy like it is every year. Hopefully I can give lots of hugs before everyone heads home. The kids change so much during the summer it’s fun to see the change when they return in August. Hope everyone has a great and safe summer. I will miss my friend Mrs. Dickson as she retires this year. I bet she will be at the pool when we start back and that makes me smile. It’s been a great 18 years and I love you. Mrs. O’Malley and Mrs. Kimbley will be leaving this year also. They will be greatly missed but they have great plans for the coming year. Mrs. O’Malley is going home to her family in California and Mrs. Kimbley will be busy with her son, Judah!
I can truthfully say I think I am ready to be back! What a blessing it has been to have some time off but I am ready to see the kids and get back to my routine! Shhh don’t tell anyone I said that! I was blessed to spend lots of time with my grandchildren, Christopher, Karsyn, and Cooper. Christopher and Cooper got sick with 102 fever but Karsyn was her talkative self! LOL! We are ready for some girls T-Ball, Yeah Derrick Divas!
Proud to be a Roughneck! So excited Coach Boyett, Coach Terry, and the Boys Varsity Basketball Team won State. What an honor after all their hard work. See you Monday!
The excitement is palpable in the Elementary Campus. I BELIEVE THAT WE CAN WIN!
