Tuesday, February 17 – It has been a nice day today.  Baseball season is upon us and the students get excited.  There is something about spring coming around the corner.  I love to fly kites with my grandchildren and listen to music with the windows rolled down.   What do you think of when you FEEL spring? 

Well, I am still a work in progress.  Changing up my blog page and really not quite sure I understand what I am doing.  Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day on Saturday. 

Wednesday, February 11th — The internet provider is down today so we could not access a computer at school.  Hopefully it will be up and running Thursday.  Thursday is Honor Day for Intermediate Students.  Please be on time and in the gym at 8:00.  I wonder what is new in the treasure box? 

We registered two new students today!  Welcome to White Oak.  Love is in the air with Valentine Day just around the corner.  My husband of 34 years forgot to ask me his yearly question, “When is Valentine’s Day?”  I won’t be at school on Friday because I will be partying.  Don’t get too excited for me.  I will be attending my grandchildren’s Valentine’s Day parties.

February 3, 2009  This is my (or was) original entry but the novice I am, when I went to edit I deleted.  Where is Pam Cranford when you need her?  My name is Karen Drennan and I am the secretary at White Oak Intermediate Campus.  I am the first face you usually see when you enter the building (hence the term fishbowl).  Hopefully it is a smiling face because I have good reasons to be smiling.  I love the Intermediate children that attend our school and I love the primary students (they are so funny)!  We have a wonderful staff with our teachers and Principal.  Who could forget the ATO’s on our campus?  If you are wondering what that stands for it is All the Others.  Not just classroom teachers but all the other great teachers and faculty that we have.  I thank God every day for the blessings in my life and just want you to know that about me.  I promise if you come back to visit my site I won’t be so mushy next time.

I am so excited that Pam Cranford is our new TCEA teacher of the year.  She is such an inspiration to the faculty that is computer challenged.

This is my granddaughter Karsyn who for no other reason that she is so cute is on this blog!
